Vemos con singular disgusto que las autoridades van a acatar el
“mandato” de los capitalinos implementando el “hoy no circula” en sábado
a la “brevedad”.
Nosotros participamos en la “consulta verde” y al responderla
pudimos ver que no había ningún tema referente a sistemas de transporte
alternativos; específicamente queríamos emitir una opinión a favor de
ampliar las ciclopistas porque nos parece una excelente opción para
transportarse de manera limpia, sana y eficiente.
En lugar de esto nos vimos obligados a emitir nuestro rotundo rechazo a
la medida del “no circula” los sábados. Esta medida es ridícula e
inútil, como lo ha sido el “hoy no circula” desde un principio.
Para empezar, téngase en cuenta que para mucha gente (me incluyo), por
el horario que tenemos entre semana, el sábado y domingo son los únicos
días en que podemos realizar labores como ir al super, salir de paseo
con la familia y otras actividades. De restringirse el tráfico los
sábados, lo único que sucedería es que esa carga se transpasa a los
domingos, y eventualmente se buscará también restringir los domingos y
poco a poco llegaremos al punto ideal donde se le prohibirá a la gente
utilizar sus automóviles. ¿o no?
Sólo que como de costumbre, se penaliza a aquellos con menos recursos;
muchos simplemente comprarán un coche especial para usarlo los fines de
semana. Aquellos que podemos tener sólo un coche tendremos que comprimir
aún más nuestros compromisos para realizarlos todos el domingo.
¡Valiente día de descanso!
Antes de tomar una medida de esta especie se tienen que dar
alternativas, como la mencionada ampliación de las ciclopistas y
garantizar la seguridad al ciclista; una vez hecho esto mucha gente
voluntariamente dejaremos nuestros automóviles para circular en
bicicleta.
Además resulta ridículo que se nos restrinja cada vez más el uso del
automóvil cuando se está pagando una cantidad específicamente por el
derecho de tenerlo y usarlo. Creo que si existiera congruencia, se
debería condonar un porcentaje del pago de tenencia, ya que a fin de
cuentas nos están prohibiendo utilizar el auto, que es la razón de dicho
pago.
Y por último, dejémonos de hipocresías y llamar al “hoy no circula” un
“descanso”. Mi coche no necesita descansar, está hecho de metal y otros
materiales muy resistentes. Llamemos a las cosas como son; cuando el
programa “hoy no circula” era voluntario la cosa era distinta, pero
actualmente, aceptémoslo, simplemente se le está prohibiendo a la gente
el uso de un bien que se adquirió.
Felipe Calderón, el candidato del PAN a la presidencia de México (y ojo, para evitar darle links gratis a felipillo, tengo también enlaces a las páginas de Madrazo (PRI) y AMLO(PRD)) utiliza SPAM para promoverse, emplea servicios de la compañía TRALIX para rastrear sus envíos. Lo cual obviamente está del nabo; es triste que los candidatos fomenten el SPAM que es el mayor problema de internet, y aún más triste que gasten el dinero de los contribuyentes en esta forma de publicidad que es completamente perjudicial, invasiva y, en la mayoría de los países que han analizado el problema, de plano ilegal. Digo “los candidatos” porque aparte de Calderón, ya he visto uno que otro de Madrazo por ahí, y en realidad tampoco creo que AMLO esté exento de que su gente pretenda utilizar esta forma de publicidad.
Se me ocurre además que dada la completa falta de regulación de internet en México, es posible que la propaganda por internet no vaya a estar sujeta a las regulaciones del COFIPE y por lo tanto pueda 1) utilizarse para atacar ilegítimamente a los adversarios y 2) pueda seguir empleándose aún terminadas las campañas.

Lawyers and accountants are self-replicating abominations engendered by their own trades. Truth is, if law and accounting weren’t such awful messes, there would be no need for lawyers and accountants. By making law procedures as well as accounting practice such a nasty and entangled mess, they effectively made sure that everyone was scared and chose rather to hire a professional to do the job. This is artificial and in stark contrast to engineering or other technical professions which require real expertise in math, science and a particular technical or creative trade; law is complicated because lawyers made it so, and so is accounting, which is basically the practice of keeping tabs on where money comes from and goes to. How complicated can this be? if you’re not handling your legal issues and accounting yourself, you probably know the answer.
